Pride v. Happiness

Pride-a high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

Sometimes we let our own opinion stick to tough situations we face. Whether it be good or bad, we have to be "right". But being right doesn't always solve things. Pounding constant counter arguments to someone can surely push them away just as much as you being wrong on a constant basis. Learn to forgive and look at the whole picture. Know that nothing of pain/disappointment lasts forever. "This too shall pass". Stop allowing your own assumptions of being beneath someone get in the way of joy. Mistakes will be made, problems will occur but the willingness to lose your pride in order to make it work is all that matters. That is TRUE HAPPINESS.
